Waitlist privacy
This notice covers the email address and optional preferences you give us when you join the Neezo waitlist. Neezo is in development and is not yet collecting family memories.
Who is responsible
Neezo is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach our privacy contact at privacy@neezo.app, and we aim to reply within 30 days.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you submit a waitlist form.
- Optional preferences, if you complete the short post-signup survey: country, family stage and whether you’d like to help test Neezo.
- Campaign attribution (for example a referral link’s parameters), so we know which announcement brought you here.
Why we use it
To send you early-access news and occasional Neezo updates, and to understand which families we’re building for. We do not sell your data, and survey answers are not sent to general analytics.
Our lawful basis
We process your email address on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing or by writing to us, and we will stop sending you email and delete your record.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers to run the waitlist: a website host, a database for waitlist records, and an email delivery service that sends our updates and handles unsubscribes. They act only on our instructions, are bound by contract, and may store data outside your country under standard contractual protections. We do not share your details with anyone else, and we never sell them.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist record until early access opens or you unsubscribe, and no longer than 24 months after your last interaction with us. Unsubscribe records are kept only so we do not contact you again by mistake.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we use privacy-respecting analytics, it is limited to aggregate page views; your email address and any survey answers are never sent to analytics.
Security
Waitlist data is transmitted over HTTPS, stored with access limited to the people who need it, and protected by our providers’ standard security controls.
Your choices
Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the waitlist mailing. You can ask us to delete your record, or to send you a copy of it, by writing to privacy@neezo.app. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, or to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The waitlist is for adults. Please don’t send us information about your child at this stage — there is nowhere to store it yet, and nothing you submit here becomes part of a future family account.
Last updated 17 September 2026. If this notice changes materially, we will email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
